Philip Cox / Derby Kansas      October 2003

The first thing I did, was to make patterns for the window openings, using index cards. I held the cards on the backside of the openings, and traced out the window shapes. Since I was making two sets of windows, one oversized and one flush fitting, I made two patterns

Once the patterns were madee, I cut them out and taped them to the clear plastic sheet I used for the "glass".

I cut out the windows, and with some test fitting and cutting, I got them to fit well.

It will be up to the final assembler to determine which set of windows to use. The flush fitting windows may require some final trimming, after the paint is applied.
